Community Veterinary Programs

Access to veterinary care, one pet at a time

We bridge the gap for pet owners by supporting accessible wellness exams and spay/neuter services, as well as support for free-roaming cats in our community

Community Veterinary Programs partners with Community Veterinary Clinic and other veterinary clinics to offer support to pets in need.

Support provided includes subsidized servcies such as spay and neuter or wellness care for the pets of low income owners or for community (free-roaming) cats.  Need help?  Please contact us at outreach@communityvetprograms.org for assistance or to discuss your pet's needs.  Please note that at this time, services are primarily limited to wellness care, spay/ neuter surgeries, and end of life care.  We are unable to provide funding to treat acute illnesses or injuries.

The best way to improve the life of a free-roaming cat is to have them spayed or neutered. This not only prevents the population from growing, but it also helps to reduce fighting among male cats and keeps female cats healthier. Community Veterinary Programs helps caregivers of community cats access affordable spay and neuter services.

Many municipalities support community cat spay/ neuter with vouchers, but there is often far more need than vouchers available. This is where Community Veterinary Programs can help - please contact us to discuss your situation.
